Bio:

Born in the Union of Traken, Nyssa lost her father to the parasitic acts of the Master and then saw the Union lost to the approaching entropy field that threatened the universe as a whole. She was taken from Traken by the Watcher projection of the future fifth Doctor and in her later stories she showed an interest in skimpy clothing. Infected with Lazer’s Dissease she found the cure and then stayed with the Vanir to help develop it for all the other sufferers.

Nyssa was a skilled biochemist and lost her father, Tremas, and her step mother Kassia, to the machinations of the Master.
