Rose lived a humdrum life with her mother and boyfriend Mickey, until the Doctor blew up her place of work and the Nestene Consciousness decided that she could be used to reach the Doctor. Rose was initially reluctant to join the Doctor in his travels, but given a second chance she jumped at the chance. Despite some moments of culture shock she is enjoying her adventures, even though they are wrecking her home life and has formed a mutual bond with the Doctor. |
