Bio:

Steven was a pathfinder astronaut who landed on the planet Mechanus only to be captured by the robotic Mechanoids sent there by Earth to make the planet habitable for human colonists; perhaps they should have hired a better programmer. When the Doctor arrived and a war broke out between the Mechanoids and the Daleks, Steven joined the Doctor. He left to take aid the savages on a planet that looked like a quarry.

Additional Comments:

Steven did not, as far as is known, suggest the Doctor repair the TARDIS with washing up liquid bottles and sticky back plastic.
