Bio:

History teacher at Coal Hill School, Barbara and fellow teacher Ian Chesterton, followed Susan home to find that she ‘lived’ in a junkyard. Virtually abducted by the Doctor, Barbara was one of the first of the Doctor’s companions. Barbara returned to Earth in the captured Dalek time machine with Ian, we assume that they got home safely.

Additional Comments:

Barbara never accepted lifts from science teachers again, and was particularly wary of junk yards.
