Bio:

Science teacher at Coal Hill School, Ian and fellow teacher Barbara Wright, followed Susan home to find that she ‘lived’ in a junkyard. Virtually abducted by the Doctor, Ian was one of the first of the Doctor’s companions. Ian returned to Earth in the captured Dalek time machine with Barbara, we assume that they got home safely.

Additional Comments:

 Ian never followed a young girl home again.
