Bio:

Ben was a sailor who became involved with the Doctor during WOTAN’s (the supercomputer not the god) attempt to take over the world. Ben was present at the Doctor’s first regeneration and therefore was one of the first humans to witness the change. Ben was attracted to fellow companion, Polly Wright, and when they arrived at Gatwick Airport during the attempted Chameleon take over, they both decided to remain on Earth as it was their own time.
