Bio:

Vicki was rescued from Dido, (the planet, not the singer) by the Doctor shortly after Sandy, he pet sand beast, was brutally murdered by Barbara Wright. Her only other companion, the crippled Bennett, turned out to be not so crippled and not so nice either. At the conclusion of the siege of Troy, Vicki took the name Cressida and ran off with Troilus – luckily Barbara had left the TARDIS by this time…

Additional Comments:

It would be cruel to say Vicki was a carbon copy of Susan; both bright young girls, both run off with one of the ‘natives’ – cruel, but true
