Bio:

Cpl Benton was attached to UNIT during the attempted Cybermen invasion via London’s sewers. He had been promoted to Sergeant by the time of the third Doctor’s exile and worked closely with the Doctor on many occasions.  Along with Brigadier Lethbridge – Stewart and Capt. Yates, Sgt Benton formed the core of the UK operation of UNIT. He was later promoted to RSM, but after leaving UNIT went into business as a second hand car dealer.
